GECI supports the development and facilitation of conferences from the development of the agenda to post conference report. Conferences are facilitated in a way that focuses on building the foundational blocks of an Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Antiracism (IDEA) Strategic Plan, with a particular lens on anti-racism. This requires inward facing initiatives related to workplaces and employees, on structural change and not just cultural change, on including those specifically challenging anti-Indigeneity, and on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), to the extent that the work encompasses a strong, clear focus on systemic racism.
