Week 3 and 4

Look towards the Future: The purpose would be to level-set and develop a common language for employees on Anti-racism. The Team has to understand the journey Canada has undertaken to migrate from Equity to Diversity to Inclusion.

Likewise, it is an opportunity to discuss the reasons why the operating paradigms that have been developed since 1984 are no longer able to provide answers to anti-Black racism, anti-Indigenous racism, bias, micro-aggressions, or explain notions, such as White privilege or intercultural competence. The outcome is:

  • Increase participants’ awareness.
  • Generate open, honest, and frank dialogue through the sharing of information and active participation.
